Great American Road Trip
Starting tomorrow my son and I are heading out on the open road for a good old fashioned road trip. We're headed to the Grand Canyon, then off to Vegas, Palm Springs, San Diego, then all the way up the coast to San Fransisco. Woo Hoo! If anyone has any suggestion on restaurants or interesting attractions between LA and San Francisco, I'd LOVE to hear them.I will have my computer with me but I won't be checking it very often. In fact I'm going to try and just unplug. So I apologize for the lull, but I promise to start posting when I get back. Wish us luck!!

Go to Kalyra Winery in Solvang, CA on the way up (just north of Santa Barbara) and tell Mike and Kathy that you know me and they will hook you up with some great wine tasting and recommendations for the area for you two. enjoy and can't wait to see pics!

Definately get yourself and In-N-Out burger(or 3)in either Vegas or in California! In San Francisco be sure to go to all the tourist things...The Pier, Ghiradelli Square ( the desserts at Ghiradelli are FANTASTIC!!), Lombardi Street, Alcatraz is awesome, If you love seafood there is great seafood on the Pier!! Not to mention great sourdough! You can't go wrong!! Have a great time and BE SAFE!!

I never been to any of these places, but I've heard about Alice Water's restaurant Chez Panisse in San Francisco. If I could, I would go there...
