I need me some schoolin' :-) <BR/><BR/>With regards to the time it took me to make the dessert, I would say it took about two hours and a half hours. Since I was sort of inventing it as I went, it may have taken longer but if you make the banana curd and whipped cream while the cake is baking, that will help to cut down on the time. Also, I assembled the cake while it was still warm so you don't have wait hours to do that (although you could). I hope that helps! <BR/><BR/>Oh and yes, please feel free to add me to your blogroll. Mine were more crusty on the bottom, creamy in the middle with a thin layer of crust on the top.<BR/><BR/>With regard to the Michaels Wilton cake decorating class...I'm glad I signed up and intend to take the next class in July but I wish the teacher ran the class more structured. She's a little too laid back for my taste. Luckily there is only two of us. I did meet a very nice lady. Perhaps we'll end up friends which would be another plus for the class. The only other thing to consider is the over all cost. It may seem inexpensive, just the cost of the class($21) and student kit($24.99) but you wind up needing(wanting) a lot more!<BR/><BR/>Sometime next week I'm diving into your coconut banana whipped dream trifle!
